"Angel in Disguise" (originally titled "You Don't Love Me") is a song by Ameican singer-songwriter Brandy released as the second track from her album, Never Say Never. It was written by Rodney Jerkins, Fred Jerkins III, LaShawn Daniels, Traci Hale, Tye-V Turman, and Joseph L. Thomas. Michael Jackson helped create the idea for the song alongside the other writers.

Background[]

In 1998, during their first collaborative studio session, Jackson and Rodney helped work on a song demo. However, it wasn't meant for Invincible, but rather just a demo for Brandy, originally titled "You Don't Love Me".[1] Contrary to popular belief, Michael's confirmed to never recorded any vocals for the song, but one of the other writers, reportedly LaShawn Daniels.[2]

Lyrics[]

[Intro]
You know, sometimes I just reminisce
Oh yeah

[Chorus]
You don't love me

[Snippets 1-5]
When on all my
For you
I
Beautiful, need to feel
I can't feel you
One night, so lovely
You
Darling
Ooh
