The song was written by Kelly to eventually sell it to Jackson in the 2000s. It isn't confirmed if Michael recorded his version. After the King of Pop passed away, Kelly's demo of "You Are My World" leaked online in 2010.[1] The song got reworked for his album Write Me Back and was released two years later.
