"World of Candy" (also known as "Wonderful World of Candy") is a unreleased song by Michael Jackson. It is unknown what project it was intended for. The song is reportedly a duet between the King of Pop and his protégé, Nisha Kataria.
Background[]
The song was registered with ASCAP and lists Brad Buxer as the co-writer and likely the producer behind it.[1]
According to Kataria's Linkedin, "World of Candy" was recorded in 2003, shortly after she met with Michael.[2] Damien Shields also mentioned it to be a "children's song".[3] An mjjcommunitty.com user who listened to the song, stated the track is vocally complete.[4] Another user, who talked with the protégé, would inform that Nisha did try to release the recording herself, but that Jackson's Estate didn't authorize it.[5]
