We Are the Ones

"We Are the Ones" is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson intended for either the Off the Wall album or the Jacksons' Destiny album.

Background[]

The song was registered with the U.S. Copyright Office in 1984. "We Are the Ones" was written, produced solely by Michael and recorded in 1978.^[1] Considering the time period, it could've been conceived for either Off the Wall or Destiny. The song was also later acknowledged by Jackson himself during the Mexico deposition in November 1993.^[2]
