"Trash Can Song" is a placeholder name for an unreleased song written and produced by Michael Jackson intended for the Bad album.

Background[]

The track was made with Bill Bottrell and recorded in May 21, 1986 during the early Bad sessions, also the only time it was ever worked on. The working title was revealed by Bottrell on December 5, 2024 through a reply on X with a list of his notes.^[1]
