The Best of Michael Jackson is a compilation album by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson, released by Motown on August 28, 1975, one day before Jackson's 17th birthday. It comprises of his greatest hits (at the time) from all of his albums: Got to Be There, Ben, Music & Me, and Forever, Michael. The Best of Michael Jackson was the final Motown album released under Jackson's name before Off the Wall, which was the first album by Jackson to be released under his new label, Epic Records.
