"Thank Heaven" is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson intended for both the Invincible album and the scrapped eleventh studio album.
Background[]
The song was registered with the U.S. Copyright Office and recorded in 1998, during the Invincible sessions, it unfortunately didn't make the cut for the album however.[1] The song was later reworked, this time with Brad Buxer, at an unknown time in the 2000s, and was registered with the U.S. Copyright Office again in 2010.[2] Jackson never recorded vocals for it however. Among other titles, the song became a contender for Jackson's never-finished eleventh studio album.
“ | MJ spoken intro (dedicating the song to “my son Michael Jackson Jr”) but the song itself is sung by a woman + choir. Sounds like a lullaby/nursery rhyme. | ” |
