"Starlight" is an unreleased song written by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson intended for his 1995 double album, HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I.

Background[]

"Starlight" was recorded in 1994 at The Hit Factory. The master tape was formerly auctioned on gottahaverockandroll.com until it was eventually taken down by the Michael Jackson Estate.^[1] Notably, the tape also features another song, titled "Haven't Got a Lot".
