Skywriter is the seventh studio album by The Jackson 5, released by Motown on March 29, 1973.
Background[]
Lead singer Michael kept developing into a tenor singer, and Jermaine's voice toned down. Of particular note is the song "Touch" by Skywriter, which was first sung by the Supremes in 1971 and featured Michael and Jermaine singing about making a woman feel good in bed. "Touch" was one of the most divisive tracks Michael had sung until his solo career took off again in the late 1970s, partly because he was just 14 years old at the time.
