Background[]
“Nite Line” was written by Glen Ballard, Brie Howard, and Davey Faragher, produced by Quincy Jones and recorded in August 1982 during the Thriller sessions. It didn't make the cut however and the song was given to Pointer Sisters, who renamed it to Nightline for their album, Break Out.[1] The song was also considered for the anniversary album, Thriller 25, but it was left off the album.
