Lyrics[]
[Verse 1]
We've been together for such a long time
Now, music, music and me
Don't care whether all our songs rhyme
Now, music, music and me
[Verse 2]
Only know wherever I go
We're as close as two friends can be
There have been others
But never two lovers
Like music, music and me
[Verse 3]
Grab a song and come along
You can sing your melody
In your mind, you will find
A world of sweet harmony
[Verse 4]
Birds of a feather, we'll fly together
Now, music, music and me
Music and me
Trivia[]
- So far "Music & Me" is the only song from the album and any song from the Motown era in general that has actual proof of having been included in the cancelled Decade compilation album due to it appearing on a DAT from February 14, 1990 and on a DAT from May 3, 1991. However, on those 2 aforementioned DAT's, the song is called "Music And Me" instead of "Music & Me" which is most likely to be just a naming error.
