MJ & Friends was a 1999 world tour by American recording artist Michael Jackson. The purpose of the tour was to raise funds for children in Kosovo, Africa and elsewhere. Jackson gave two concerts during the tour. The first one took place in Seoul, South Korea on June 25, and the second one was in Munich, Germany.

During the performance of "Earth Song" on June 27 in Munich, the bridge prop fell from the top of the stage to below the stage with Michael on it. He continued the show without any further costume changes. After the show ended, Michael collapsed backstage and was rushed to a hospital.
