"Light the Way" is a unreleased song by Michael Jackson. It's unknown what project it was intended for.

Background[]

The song was registered with on ASCAP and credits Brad Buxer as the producer and a co-writer.^[1] "Light the Way" was written by Jackson and Abdullah bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and was recorded in 2005 during Michael's stay in Bahrain.^[2]

On October 16, 2022, Damien Shields gave away more details on the song.

“	Light The Way has a horn section intro, and a choir in the choruses. According to my notes, the choir sings: "Light the way, let's pray for peace". Slow song. No lead vocal on what I heard. Just music + choral chorus.	”
