"Lady of Summer" (also known as "Lady of the Summer") is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson intended for the scrapped eleventh studio album.
Background[]
The song was registered with U.S. Copyright Office in 2010 and credits Neff-U for the production.[1] According to Damien Shields, "Lady of Summer" is a classical piece originating from 2009.[2] Prior to Jackson's death, he played it to a composer, David Michael Frank, in order to show off what direction he wants to go for the next album.[2][3]
Among other titles, it became a contender for Jackson's never-finished eleventh studio album.
