Janet Damita Jo Jackson better known as Janet Jackson is an American recording artist and actress. She is the youngest member of the Jackson family.

Early life
Janet Jackson was born on May 16, 1966. Janet initially had ambitions of becoming a horse racing jockey or entertainment lawyer with plans to support herself through acting. However, she also anticipated a career in entertainment after recording herself in the studio.
2004 controversy
During the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show in February 2004, Jackson performed alongside Justin Timberlake. While Timberlake sang the lyric "I'm gonna have you naked by the end of this song," he tore open her costume and exposed her right breast to 140 million viewers. Jackson issued an apology following the exposure, and said it was not intended for her cleavage to be seen.
