"Happy Song" is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson intended for Steven Spielberg's Peter Pan musical.

Background[]

The song was written and recorded by Jackson in April 1983 with Buz Kohan. Joe Vogel confirmed Jackson recorded the song, along with "Peter Pan" in his book Man in the Music: The Creative Life and Work of Michael Jackson, and in a reply to a post on X from August 29, 2024.^[1]^[2] It's currently unknown if "Happy Song" is the actual title for the song, or just a working one, although, the latter is more likely to be the case.
