"Garbage" is an unreleased song written and produced by Bryan Loren for Michael Jackson and intended for the Dangerous album.

Background[]

"Garbage" was recorded during sessions for the Dangerous album between 1989-1990. The full runtime is 3:00. It's known to be a instrumental that sounds similar to "Ghosts". According to those who attended Loren's 2016 seminar in Paris, it inspired "Can't Let Her Get Away".^[1] The title was included on the insert of a DAT featuring an early configuration of the album, which was found during the Brad Sundberg laptop theft.

According to a mjjcommunity.com user, when talking about the track with Bill Bottrell, he mentioned it to be a demo by Loren.^[2]
