Background[]
"Diana Ross" was recorded in 1994 at The Hit Factory. The master tape was formerly auctioned on gottahaverockandroll.com until it was eventually taken down by the Michael Jackson Estate.[1] Notably, the tape features another song, titled "Like You" (here titled "Like U"). Considering the title, Jackson most likely wrote "Diana Ross" about his friend of the same same.
