(originally titled "T.S.") is a song written and produced by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson, released as the twenty-first track (sixth track on the second disc) from the HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I album. Slash of Guns N’ Roses is featured on the electric guitar, marking the second studio collaboration between him and Jackson.
Background[]
Originally "T.S.", the title clearly referred to Tom Sneddon Jr., the district attorney of Santa Barbara County, California, who led the investigation for the 1993 sexual abuse case. The title was eventually changed to "D.S." now referring to him as "Dom Sheldon", possibly due to a lawsuit Jackson wanted to avoid.[1] However, in the recording itself, Jackson is still clearly heard saying his name.
