"Come Together" is a cover of the song by The Beatles performed by Michael Jackson. It was released as the eighth track on the second disc of the HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I album.
Background[]
Jackson's cover was recorded between October 26 and November 17, 1986 for inclusion on Bad. It credits both Jackson and Bill Bottrell as the producers. Although the track didn't make the cut, it was finished and featured in the Moonwalker movie 2 years later. In 1992, the cover received its first official release as the B-side to the "Remember the Time" single. 3 years later in March 1995, "Come Together" was featured on the HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I album. Its length was edited down from 5 minutes and 20 seconds to 4 minutes and 2 seconds.

The clip for "Come Together" is a scene originating from the Moonwalker movie. It features Jackson performing on stage, similarly to what can be seen in "Dirty Diana" or "Give In to Me".

Trivia[]
- In a now-deleted X post, Bill Bottrell expressed his dislike towards "Come Together", saying it "sucks".[2]
- The song was also planned to be released in the greatest hits album, Decade, but this never came into fruition as the album was scrapped all out.
