On August 1, 1982 Michael Jackson made a surprise appearance at the Budweiser Superfest at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. On stage, he joined Patti Austin, James Ingram, Asford & Simpson and Louis Johnson.
Alongside Asford & Simpson, the King of Pop had performed to "Stuff Like That", a hit single by Quincy Jones.

While multiple pictures from the Budweiser Superfest have been shared around for years, barely any videos of the show were ever released. Only a few second-snippets have leaked online between 2021 and 2022.[1][2]
However, 54 minute audio of the entire show had been released.[3]
