"Broken Chair" is an unreleased song by Michael Jackson intended for the scrapped eleventh studio album.
Background[]
The song was registered with U.S. Copyright Office in 2010. The song is a work-in-progress instrumental created with Neff-U in April 2009.[1] "Broken Chair" is also reportedly a working title. Among other titles, it became a contender for Jackson's never-finished eleventh studio album. A CD was also found in court documents of Jeffré Phillips' lawsuit.[2]
“ | What I heard was an instrumental. My notes say "booming digital drums and rock/electric guitar". Don't ask me to describe it further - that's all my notes say. It's one of the many work-in-progress ideas MJ gave random titles to - to make it easier to refer to the track. | ” |
