Bad 25 is a documentary film celebrating the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson's album, Bad, directed by Spike Lee.

The film showcases behind the scenes of making Bad. Multiple people who not only worked with Jackson but were friends with him are interviewed for the movie. These talk about the Bad World Tour, production of the album, song breakdowns, music videos and the impact Bad had on pop culture. Additionally, it features never-seen-before footage of Michael in the recording studio.

Its first screening took place at the the 69th Venice International Film Festival on August 31, 2012. On October 19, 2012 it was shown at New York and Los Angeles theaters for a limited time. Finally, the film premiered on television on October 20, 2012. On November 22, 2012 a 90 minute cut without commercials aired on ABC in North America. A year later, it was released on DVD and Blu-ray.[1]
