"Alright Now" is a song by Ralph Tresvant released on his 1990 self-titled album. Michael Jackson wrote and recorded the song himself, although his version is unreleased.
Background[]
Michael wrote the song with John Barnes. The latter confirmed the King of Pop recorded his rendition sometime in 1983, during the early Victory sessions. It didn't make the cut for the album and was given to Ralph a few years later. Michael's version is said to sound nearly the same as Tresvant's.
