This article is about Agent M. You may have been looking for Agent MJ.
Agent M is an agent working for the organization known as the Men In Black ( or MiB for short) in the 2002 movie, Men in Black II. The character is famously portrayed by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson. Contrary to popular belief, Jackson wasn't playing a character known as "Agent M", but playing as himself wanting to be an agent in Men in Black II as he stated he requested to play as himself for a cameo because he loved Men in Black.
History[]
Durlock Peace Treaty[]
Agent M contacts Chief Zed at MiB Headquarters to report that the Durlock aliens have departed and that a peace treaty has been successfully signed between them and another species, possibly an alien race.
During the conversation, Agent M inquires about a potential position within the Men in Black agency. However, Zed, having previously made a vague or false promise, dismisses the request by claiming he is working on an alien affirmative action program and will keep him informed. When Agent M insists that this was not the agreement they had, Zed abruptly hangs up, though not before M makes one final plea, stating that he could be "Agent M."
Final Plea for MiB[]
Later, when Serleena seizes control of MiB Headquarters and demands that Zed bring her Agent K, Zed secretly dials another number. When Serleena takes the phone, Agent M is on the other end, assuming he is speaking with Zed. Once again, he asserts that he could be Agent M. However, this call serves as a diversion, allowing Zed an opportunity to launch an attack on Serleena. Despite his efforts, she ultimately overpowers and subdues him.

Trivia[]
- Jackson is known to have loved the first Men in Black movie. He called Will Smith to ask if he could cameo in the movie which he approved.
- In Men in Black 3 during Zed's funeral, there's a podium of an Agent with an M on the statue, which's likely a nod to Jackson, who passed away in the years since Men in Black II's release.
