"Abortion Papers" (also referred to as "Song Groove") is a previously unreleased song written and produced by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson, released as the fourteenth track from the Bad 25 anniversary album.
Background[]
"Abortion Papers" was written and recorded by Jackson between 1983–early 1984 at Can-Am Recorders in Tarzana, California, probably intended for The Jacksons' album Victory. Its themes may come off as controversial, as Jackson discusses his thoughts regarding abortion. Jackson spent a lot of time thinking about how to write the song correctly.
