"A Way With Words" is an unreleased song written by Michael Jackson intended for the Bad album.

Background[]

"A Way With Words" was co-written with Bill Bottrell (who also produced it) and made in July 17, 1986 during the early Bad sessions at Hayvenhurst, which was also the only time the track was ever worked on. The title was revealed by Bottrell on December 5, 2024 through a reply on X with a list of his notes.^[1]
