Background[]
The song's very experimental for Jackson's standards. His vocals are noticeably deeper compared to his high-pitched voice he uses for most of the songs, which over the years has gathered a large amount of speculation in the fan community regarding whether his voice was tampered with or if the King of Pop can actually provide such deep vocals.
It was originally meant for Tyrese, however Michael loved the song so much he wanted to record it himself. Although Tyrese didn't record his version, he released an album of the same name a day before Invincible.
