"(I Can't Make It) Another Day" (originally titled "Another Day" and later titled "Storm" by Lenny Kravitz) is a previously unreleased song performed by Michael Jackson, released as the fifth track on Jackson's first posthumous album Michael. Lenny Kravitz, who also co-written and produced the song with Jackson, is featured on the track.
Background[]
“Another Day” started production in 1999 during the Invincible sessions and continued production until the final year of the album’s sessions. It unfortunately failed to make the final cut due to the crew thinking it was "too rock" for the album, despite Jackson's previous records featuring rock-driven songs (e.g. "Beat It", "Dirty Diana", "Give In to Me"). “Another Day” ultimately later ended up on Lenny's own album, Baptism, being re-titled to "Storm" and featuring Jay-Z. However, Michael loved the song still and called Lenny afterwards to discuss releasing it on the former's next album.[1] The idea unfortunately never came into fruition as the album was scrapped due to Jackson passing away.

After Michael’s death, a minute-and-a-half-long snippet of “Another Day” would leak online on January 2, 2010. 2 days later, Lenny posted a video on his YouTube channel talking about the song, and that more info would arrive soon.[3]
“Another Day” would finally release in December 10, 2010 on the posthumous album, Michael, with a few additional touches to the mixing done by Kravitz and the song being retitled to “(I Can’t Make It) Another Day”.
Dave Grohl credits[]
Dave Grohl from the band, Nirvana, is credited as the drummer for “(I Can’t Make It) Another Day”, however, he confirmed in November 2011 that his involvement in the song was completely false. Kravitz contacted him during the Invincible sessions to ask him about recording drums for the song, which he did do, but neither Lenny, Michael, nor his estate ever contacted him afterwards and the song doesn't feature him playing.[4]
