1975 - The Jackson 5 perform "Dancing Machine","Moving Violation",& "Just A Little Bit You" (Michael's solo) on American Bandstand.
1979 - The Wiz an all-black remake of The Wizard of Oz starring Michael as The Scarecrow and Diana Ross as Dorothy is released in the Netherlands.
1985 - Michael & Elizabeth Taylor attend Liza Minnelli's "Comeback" concert tour at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa,California.
1988 - Michael plays the last of two nights at Parc des Princes in Paris,France on the Bad World Tour.
1993 - "Will You Be There" the 8th single from Dangerous is released worldwide. It peaks at #7 on Billboard's Hot 100. It is also on the soundtrack for the family movie Free Willy. Michael says that he wrote "Will You Be There" in his Giving Tree at Neverland. The full version of the song includes a prelude featuring the Cleveland Orchestra and the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus performing a portion of Beethoven's ninth symphony. The segment is from the fourth movement and is a lesser known portion of the famous "Ode To Joy".
1995 - Michael is on the cover of Freizeit Revue (Germany) magazine.
1999 - Michael was briefly hospitalized overnight following the collapse of a stage-prop bridge during MJ & Friends concerts at the Olympic Stadium in Munich,Germany.
In the morning his fans waited for him to get back to the hotel he showed up and waived to them.
2001 - Michael gets on stage at the end of the Summer Jam Concert festival in Long Island to hug rapper Jay-Z.
